SVFAB measures the balance of public broadcasting programs — not the quality of individual journalists. Our goal is not accusation, but transparency. We believe: Good journalism deserves to be made visible.
What we offer you
Strengths Portrait
Our data shows not only where programs fail to meet their legal mandate — they also show where they fulfill it particularly well. For the moderators of Arena and Rundschau, we have already created such strengths portraits and delivered them personally, together with a copy of our book.
This offer is open to all journalists at SRF whose programs we analyze within the framework of our four main formats. Upon request, we create a data-based analysis — focused on your strengths.
Transparency instead of confrontation
We measure compliance with a legal mandate — according to criteria that law, science and SRG itself have recognized as binding. The responsibility for structural imbalances lies with the system, not with individual persons.
We invite editorial offices and media professionals to get to know our data and methodology. We are convinced: Those who measure can improve.
